“From scenic adventures to quiet retreats, mountain peaks to valley floors, there's much to see and do in Alpine County. So, get lost and find yourself in the California Alps.”

- Alpine Chamber of Commerce

Alpine County is the least populous county in California with a population density of 2 people per square mile.  96% of Alpine County’s 743 square miles is public land.

Representatives of Alpine County, relevant land managers, and public stakeholders will be convened to review existing data and gap analysis developed by the Towns to Trails team and then collaboratively articulate Alpine County’s current and future contributions to the regional trails network.
