“A journey to Mono County will take you to a California you didn’t even imagine existed. A land of lava and ice, sparkling clear waters and pastel desert. Discover rock formations from another world, the planet’s oldest living trees, and ghost towns of the Gold Rush.”

https://www.monocounty.org/

Mono County is 3,132 square miles, of which almost 94% is public land.

Representatives of Mono County, relevant land managers, and public stakeholders will be convened to review existing data and gap analysis developed by the Towns to Trails team and then collaboratively articulate Mono County’s current and future contributions to the regional trails network .
